Joshua is a Mexican-American neuroscientist, photographer, and writer. After completing his training at UCLA, MIT, and as a Harvard research fellow, he turned toward the practice of photography.
The Council for the Arts at MIT has awarded Joshua grants for photographic projects bridging the arts and sciences. He has exhibited his work nationally and internationally, including at the Griffin Museum of Photography in Winchester, MA, the Panopticon Gallery in Boston, the European Center for the Arts in Dresden, Germany, and the Museum of Sydney in Australia. He is also the director of, The Poetry of Science, a Cambridge Arts Council funded project.
Joshua has published several articles on the intersection of photography and neuroscience and has given talks on the topics at Trinity College in Dublin, Northeastern University, and Flashpoint Boston. Learn More >>
