Our Artists
The Project
Six photographers of color have created a short series of images inspired by work from six poets of color. All photos will incorporate the surrounding city's figurative and literal visual elements related to the associated poetry—prompted by a James Baldwin quote—and the artists' experiences.
The Exhibition
Through These Realities was exhibited at the BIPOC Space Initiative at the SomArt space in Somerville, MA, from June 12 through July 22, 2022. Somerville Media Center also hosted our exhibition from May 2, 2023 through May 31, 2023
